This is a call-out notice to Education Administrators, Vice Chancellors, Rectors, Educators, Professors, Senior Lecturers and other relevant professionals in Computer, Innovation and Technology Education.
The 2009 Conference will be held in Paris, France and hosted by the Universiti Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris 6). The Conference will deal with the use of technology in supporting Computer Science teaching and learning, the practice of teaching Computer Science and Computer Science education research.
The program will consist of keynote lectures, paper sessions, working groups, exhibits, panels, posters, demonstrations and tips and techniques. This Conference will provide an opportunity to share a practical idea, a particular assignment, a pedagogical tool, a method of assessment, a class activity, or courseware that support learning in Computer Science.(For futher details visit: http://iticse09.lrde.org/conference/)
INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE
It is in view of the significance of the Conference to the educational sectors in Nigeria that we hereby wish to invite you and other target audiences under your authority to participate. Prospective participants are expected to forward the following documents to our Head Office in Lagos not later than 15th MAY, 2009.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Profile of intending participants i.e. Names, Qualification, Affiliation, Address, Telephone, E-mail, City/State.
2. Eight (8) Passport photographs with white Background.
3. International Passport with not less than six months validity
4. Copies of personal Income Tax Clearance/Pay slip, Statement of Account,
5. Letters of Recommendation to travel from the authority, sponsor / Foreign Affairs (NOTE VERBAL).
FINANCE Conference fee of €1,685 (One Thousand Six Hundred and Eighty-five Euro) to cover;
(a) Entrance to all academic sessions andrexhibits
(b) A CD of the conference proceedings
(c) Lunch on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
(d) Morning and afternoon coffee breaks during conference sessions
(e) Banquet of Tuesday evening (Dinner Cruise on the Seine; provided space is still available when you register)
(f) Reception on Monday evening.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION Hotel rate of €70 per day x 8 days.
Administrative charge of N95,000 (Ninety-five Thousand Naira) to cover administrative expenses, visas, postages, and other logistics.
